The Huracan shares its 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 and 7-speed LDF dual-clutch gearbox with the Audi R8, but the drivetrain, brakes, steering and chassis systems change from one variant to the next. The rear-wheel-drive Huracan has no front drive clutch, steel brakes as standard and a different chassis setup. Service schedules, brake parts and alignment settings differ from the LP610-4, so it is never treated as the same car.
The Performante adds ALA active aerodynamics with electrically operated flaps, a track-focused chassis and forged composite parts. ALA actuator faults, aero warnings and composite panel repairs are handled with model-specific procedures.
The EVO introduced LDVI vehicle dynamics control, the 8.4-inch touchscreen and rear-wheel steering on the all-wheel-drive car. Many EVO faults are electronic or calibration-related, so correct diagnostics and software procedures matter as much as mechanical repair.

The Huracan V10 uses a dry-sump oil system. The level must be read hot with the engine running, through the instrument cluster or diagnostics. Checking it cold gives a false reading and leads to overfilling.

The Huracan uses forged aluminium double wishbones with conventional or optional MagneRide magnetorheological dampers. It does not use air suspension. Leaking MagneRide dampers, worn ball joints and bushes cause knocks, uneven ride and chassis warnings.
